Title: People’s Action to End Poverty

ActionAid wanted a short film that detailed the key points from their 2012-2017 strategy, and brought them to life in some way. The text they wanted included was quite substantial but at the same time they wanted to break it up with images and video clips. As the text itself felt like a document KCP thought the best way to present the material was as an animated booklet, which would not only feature the text, clips and photographs, but also stylistically fit in with ActionAid's international look. As the film is for an international audience the pace of the film is taking English as a second language into consideration.

Title: Call My Wine Bluff 2010

A short promotional film edited from coverage of ActionAid's annual Call My Wine Bluff event where a hundred of London's most dedicated wine buffs joined celebrity stars Clive Anderson, Michael Buerk, Brian Cox, Lucy Porter and Andy Parsons for a remarkable night of lies, deception and superb wine.

The event raised over £120,000.

Title: What a Feeling

Client supplied interview and low-res video booth footage with the task to source elements that might go someway to describing the feeling of being an Actionaid supporter.

Once I'd located the clips I wanted to use I had to whiten the backgrounds, and position them to work and evolve with the music. In the end the music had to be adjusted and there were some additional clips added that affected the timings.
